A Message For Back Pain Sufferers
Since opening my own practice in 2007, I’ve treated 1000s of patients suffering from back pain.
And, knowing just how much I enjoy the outdoors, I want my patients to be able to do the same, to get in and out of the kayak, be able to travel, pick up grandkids, or whatever it is that is important to you.
That’s why we take the time to listen and find out what it is that you want to be able to do and make sure that we can help you with that.
You may have read my books, Run Forever and Forever Young, while my clinic won the award for being the Best of South Sound clinic for physical therapy in 2023. I also have a popular podcast called Stay Healthy South Sound.

If you are suffering from low back pain, you have probably tried a couple things already: stretches, painkillers and medications. You may have had injections already, or tried resting and waiting for it to pass.
But all of that over time can take a toll on you emotionally and mentally because you’re afraid to go and do things you normally would, in turn limiting your interaction socially with your family and work.
Your world just gets smaller and smaller, and people tend to get a little more frustrated, more anxious, and worried about things. Mentally, that feeds into making your pain worse so it’s important to get a handle on this sooner rather than later.
