Attention Back Pain Sufferers
Is back pain affecting your everyday life and stopping you doing what you love – or perhaps even taking the enjoyment away from it?
My personal journey with back pain started in my third year of university when I sustained a major back injury. It led me to dive deep into understanding what works (and more importantly what doesn’t work) when it comes to treating back pain.
Living in Market Harborough, I set up The Injury Clinic here in 2014 with the aim to provide access to personalised, higher-quality treatment and rehabilitation – particularly for those suffering with back pain – something I believe is even more important now than when I first set the clinic up.
So for over a decade now I’ve enjoyed helping thousands of people overcome a range of different back pain issues and return to doing what they love the most. I work with anyone looking for a long term solution to persistent or reoccurring bouts of back pain and truly wants to get back to and go on to lead a healthy active lifestyle, free of pain and medications.
So many people are walking around and living with back pain unnecessarily, thinking that nothing can be done – myself and my team are here to help them understand what can be done and guide them on their journey to a version of life without pain.
- We want to get you back to doing what you enjoy and love
- Is back pain stopping you from playing golf and enjoying 18 holes?
- Are you unable to run freely without struggling and suffering from back pain?
- At work are you not able to perform to the best of your ability because of back pain?
Back pain can have a significant impact on people’s lives, affecting daily activities, work productivity, and overall quality of life. It’s often preventing them from doing the things they love like sports and being able to be active with family and friends.
Chronic back pain sufferers may also experience difficulty in performing simple daily tasks like putting their socks on, bending over, lifting objects, or sitting for extended periods. This can lead to decreased mobility, disrupted sleep, increased stress levels and a dependency on painkillers just to get through the day.
The emotional toll of living with chronic pain can also cause feelings of frustration, anxiety, and depression, affecting not only the individual but also their relationships with others. In some cases, back pain has robbed the person of their identity altogether, taking away all the activities they previously loved to do and forcing them to miss out from social events and completely consuming their lives.
