Calling Back Pain Sufferers
I started my career in elite sport – working with numerous GB teams across various sports and opened my private physiotherapy clinic, Urban Body Physiotherapy, over 15 years ago and specialise in helping people over 50 who are suffering with back pain.
Urban Body is now one of the fastest growing physio clinics in the Midlands, specialising in helping people in their 40s, 50s, 60s (even 70s, 80s and above!) to keep them active and maintain independence and mobility.
I dedicate my expertise to helping as many individuals as possible recover from back pain.
The journey to recovery for many begins with seeking answers. In my experience, providing those answers swiftly is what people need. It’s about more than just alleviating pain; it’s about restoring quality of life. Once we manage the pain, my patients find themselves sleeping better, becoming more active, and embracing life with new-found hope and optimism.
As a result you will:
- See improvements in your relationships
- Enhance contributions at work
- Re-engage with family activities, especially with their children and grandchildren, but WITHOUT the shadow of back pain looming.
Back pain is more than just an ailment, it’s the most common injury that profoundly affects lives. When I started my career, I quickly realised the immense impact I could have by focusing on those suffering from back pain. With years of dedicated practice, I’ve encountered virtually every type of back pain, from sciatica to stenosis to muscle spasms and more serious conditions. This breadth of experience has allowed me to specialise and help anyone battling back pain in Solihull.
Most people are seeking clarity on what’s happened to them, frustrated by the lack of understanding and the fleeting promises of pain relief that never materialise. The initial relief sought is not just physical but psychological assurance that their pain isn’t indicative of something more sinister.
The quest for a good night’s sleep is often a primary concern, as restorative rest can feel like a distant dream for those with persistent back pain. The fear of dependency on medication, the dread of surgery, and the aversion to injections are common sentiments.
My role is to offer clarity, trust, and a proven pathway to recovery, distinguishing my approach from the generalist views often found in standard medical consultations. Understanding back pain deeply, as I do, allows me to guide my patients back to a life where back pain no longer dictates their capabilities and happiness.
Back pain often overstays its welcome, lingering longer than necessary, primarily due to a lack of awareness about effective treatments.
