Are YOU Suffering From a Sports Injury that just wont shift?
I started my career in professional rugby, working with various professional rugby teams across both codes, league and union. I did that for 5 years but then decided to move on to something different. My job as a sports physio was taking too much out of me as I was constantly travelling the world with sports teams.
That’s when the idea struck me – why not establish a clinic where the expertise and skills I’ve acquired working with elite athletes could be accessible to everyone? I wanted to extend the same level of care, knowledge, and individualised treatment plans to anyone looking for it.
Therefore, I founded my clinic in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire, where we offer services similar to those provided to professional sports teams. I now have a network of 3 clinics, 6 members of staff, and we’re offering a lot of athletes and active people the resources to live pain-free and carry on with their sport.
I help individuals, who prioritise their fitness, in enhancing their activity levels without reliance on pain medication. At Moore Performance we treat everything from simple aches and pains to very complex traumatic injuries and all in between. We tailor our approach for each individual as we know everyone is different, and people’s goals are different, so why wouldn’t your plan of care be different? We will ensure you know exactly what the issues are in straightforward, non-complex language and explain the steps you need to take to achieve your goals.
We are a sports injury clinic, which is our specialty. Anyone active is what we class as a sports person and they don’t have to be part of a football or rugby team. We class someone as active if they do lots of walking, running, or simply keeping up with children or grandchildren.

Whether it’s taking a holiday, spending time with the kids, or playing sports and activities you love, an injury can impact your whole life. Many individuals, like me, have sports deeply intertwined with their lives. Weekends usually revolve around going to games or being active with friends.
Unsurprisingly, if you love a sport and you get injured, that’s a big part of your free time gone. Sports injuries aren’t just about the pain they cause: they disrupt your entire routine and social activities, depriving you of a vital outlet from work or family responsibilities. This void is acutely felt, affecting not only physical activity but also overall well-being.
Injuries, regardless of where they occur, have repercussions beyond the pitch or the court. Even if sustained during sports and exacerbated during moderate activity, they also hinder everyday tasks such as being comfortable at work or picking up your children or grandchildren.
